TWICE’s agency apologized for the similarity of hanbok costumes worn by Dahyun And Chaeyoung on the Switch To Me cover with the customized hanbok for BLACKPINK’s How You Like That.

On February 11, JYP Entertainment, officially said, “We did not properly recognize the similarities of the hanbok related to Dahyun and Chaeyoung’s Melody Project costumes but they were purchased from a hanbok manufacturer. We are sincerely sorry for this,” said the statement.

They then apologized, saying, “I deeply apologize to the designer with an explanation of the situation. I will take more care so that this will never happen again in the future.”

Earlier, TWICE’s agency released a video of Switch To Me performed by Dahyun and Chaeyoung through the official YouTube channels at 6 pm on February 10th parodying singer Rain and Park Jin Young’s song Let’s Change to Me released on December 31st last year.

Among them, it was argued that the hanbok costume worn by Dahyun was similar to the costume worn by the group BLACKPINK member Jisoo in the How You Like That music video. The stylist who participated in the production of the black pink hanbok costume uploaded a TWICE video on personal SNS and posted a post saying, “Huh? Is it a custom costume of my design that I did not do?”
